Erik is a certified Professional Community and Economic Developer and board member with the national Community Development Council. He created IHFA’s Housing Information Referral Center and Housing Hotline in 1998 and has coordinated several statewide program, strategic planning and outreach initiatives. Erik represents IHFA on the Idaho Rural Partnership (IRP) board,
Community Review Team, Western Community Assessment Network (WeCAN), and the Idaho Fair Housing Forum. He teaches Housing as a Second Language as a NW Community Development Institute faculty member and has participated in over three dozen rural Idaho Community Reviews. Erik created and manages content for RampUpIdaho.org and FairHousingForum.org, and joined the Idaho Access Project as a board member in 2020.
