Craig Quintana works at the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation as the public information officer, senior. A still-recovering journalist, Craig spent nearly 20 years in newspapers, working for the Los Angeles Times, the Orlando Sentinel
and the Idaho Statesman. In the early 2000s, Craig transitioned to communications work, running public outreach for a local transportation agency. Before coming to Parks and Recreation, Craig operated a freelance writing and PR business. An avid cyclist, Craig lives in west Boise, conveniently close to many favorite trailheads and rural road rides. He and his wife of 33 years, Barbara, enjoy daily walks with their rambunctious American Eskimo Dogs, Loki and Kiska.
