Speakers

Meet the ICORT23 Speakers

Adam Stoker

Adam Stoker established himself as the “voice” of tourism in 2019, breaking ground in the audio world with over 100,000 downloads from travel enthusiasts and marketing professionals. Host of both the Destinations Marketing Podcast and the Travel Vertical Podcast, Adam also founded the Destination Marketing Podcast Network, sharing the joy of podcasting with others. Not limiting himself to sound waves, Adam also penned the book Touchpoints: The Destination Marketer’s Guide to Brand Evaluation and Enhancement, derived largely from his years of hands-on experience as CEO/President of Relic, a full-service marketing agency specializing in tourism-based clientele. When not imparting wisdom, Adam enjoys time with his beautiful wife and four children in Provo, UT.

Lisa Grigg

Lisa Grigg is a regional labor economist for the Idaho Department of Labor. Her role is to help Idaho know itself by providing labor market insight, identify economic trends, and develop labor market forecasts/projections. She is based out of Lewiston and specifically follows the north central region of Idaho (comprised of 5 counties including: Clearwater, Idaho, Latah, Lewis, and Nez Perce). Prior to joining the Idaho Department of Labor, Lisa received a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from Eastern Washington University and worked as a corporate credit analyst at the Washington State Investment Board. Lisa and her husband own and operate Jovinea Cellars, a micro winery located on the Idaho side of the Lewis-Clark Valley AVA.

Jessica Flynn

As CEO of PR and marketing agency Red Sky, Jess provides strategy across the diverse client portfolio and leads the agency’s reputation management and executive training programs.

With two decades of journalism and PR expertise, she is a trusted advisor to private- and public-sector leaders who turn to her to handle high-stakes issue communication and crisis response. One of Jess’ most valuable assets is her deep knowledge and connectivity to the people and issues that drive business in Idaho — from the political landscape and entrepreneurial ecosystem to economic development efforts and the changing dynamics of legacy and emerging industries.

Jess was an Emmy award-winning journalist, recognized as a CEO of Influence, and served as a federal appointee to the National Women’s Business Council, leading the Rural Subcommittee. She is currently a Director of First Federal Bank, Honorary Commander of the Idaho Air National Guard and executive board member of the Women’s and Children’s Alliance.

Chris Christmas

Chris is the Head of Destination Partnerships at Key Data, an industry leader in accommodations data analytics. He leads collaboration with tourism organizations to turn vacation rental and hotel data into a meaningful story, and make impactful decisions driven by the numbers. He has an extensive background in finance and real estate, ranging from development and regulations to data analysis. His passion for travel translates into an understanding of the different needs that each destination has, and how to approach each situation uniquely to come up with the right solutions.

Alexandra Fuller

For over 20 years Alexandra Fuller has been making creative work about the intersection of people and place, with a strong emphasis on wild and rural places. She writes and directs brand films and campaigns, as well as independent documentary and narrative films. As a director, she is known for building deep empathy and raw vulnerability with subjects, and for creating work that is as earnest as it is lyrical. Her films have premiered at Sundance, won a jury prize at SXSW, garnered a Vimeo Staff Pick and been nominated for an Emmy. She is also a poet and fine art photographer. Her recent visual artwork has shown in solo shows at CityHome Underground Gallery (SLC) and Boulder City Hall, as well as the upcoming Finch Lane Gallery (SLC) show, and in multiple survey shows at Modern West Fine Art (SLC).  When she works with brands, Alex brings a rare understanding that comes from the decade she spent as an advertising creative director. Today she writes and directs branded content and commercial videos both through agencies and client-direct, but always with a strategic eye for the audience and an understanding of the ecosystem in which the content will live.
